We consumers can (and should) recycle until we are blue in the face. But if manufacturers would package products consumer need using responsible eco-materials:

The problem of consumer waste is reduced.

We must pressure manufacturers (like @Tide and @Coca-ColaCompany) to package, make, and distribute products in earth friendly ways. We must pressure sellers (like @Walmart and @Target) to only shelve products that are packaged, manufactured, and distributed in earth friendly ways.
