I wrote a comment to Colgate-Palmolive about their toothpaste packaging:
I like your products, I very much DISLIKE your packaging. I want the toothpaste, I don’t want the pollution packaging it comes in.
After a tube is empty, that tube then pollutes the earth for generations after our great grandchildren are dead. Or, it breaks down into microplastics which will give us all cancer when it gets into the water supply or pollutes fish.
I am a big fan of the toothpaste tabs that are coming out lately. Why not make those, with whitening and fluoride while you’re at it. Why not package them in 100% post consumer waster packaging or plant base (plastic free/tree free) packing? How about it? Be the solution instead of the problem.
Thank you,
