I wrote a comment to Tresemme/Unilever about their packaging via an online survey:

I wish companies like yours (and there are many) would figure out a way to package your products so that when the product is empty from the packaging, the packaging does not then become a poisonous liability to the earth. We use your product for a few weeks, and the package remains on earth (poisoning it, polluting it) FOREVER. Your company could become a leader in fixing this. Develop new packaging that biodegrades. Or find other ways to deliver your product (a glass bottle, maybe, that can be refilled). How about a cardboard box (if cardboard can carry milk and Chinese food, can it really not carry whatever it is that you make?). Think about it and do the right thing. Do it soon.
Thank you,
Emily Gleichenhaus
